The Ukrainian conflict could provoke unprecedented threat security around the world, said the Chinese leader Xi Jinping. According to him, European countries continue to “blindly believe” that the situation can be resolved by expanding military alliances.
The PRC leader once again stressed that China remains neutral in the context of the Ukrainian conflict.
“The Ukrainian crisis has again sounded the alarm of mankind. Countries will surely face security difficulties if they blindly believe in their own strength, expand military alliances and seek their own security at the expense of others,” Xi Jinping said at a briefing.
According to the Chinese leader, the introduction of new sanctions will not lead to anything either, because the restrictions may have a “boomerang” effect on the countries that impose them.
