Chernyshev said when the current heating season will start
The heating season in Ukraine will start after October 15, subject to weather conditions.
This was announced at a briefing on Saturday, July 30, by Minister for the Development of Communities and Territories Oleksiy Chernyshov, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, the start of the heating season is scheduled for mid-October. And at the government level, it was decided not to raise heat tariffs. Chernyshev also noted that gas for the population will be supplied at a price of 7420 hryvnia per thousand cubic meters.
“The Verkhovna Rada has adopted three laws that actually allow the passage of the heating season and provide compensation for the difference in tariffs. This is important for us to ensure the passage of the heating season. That is, the physical and economic conditions for this have been created,” Chernyshev said.
He also added that the standard temperature indicators will not be revised. According to him, the minimum temperature level that must be ensured is at least 18 degrees.
