Chapel “Dudarik” at concerts in Latvia collected ₴250 thousand for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Lviv Men’s Choir “Dudaryk” gave five volunteer concerts in Latvia, raising UAH 250,000 for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported by the press service Lviv City Councilreports Ukrinform.

“The Lviv National Academic Men’s Choir Dudarik gave 5 volunteer concerts “Stand with Ukraine” for five days in Latvia. During the tour, they managed to raise a quarter of a million hryvnias, which will go to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the report says.

The choir said that the audience at each concert demanded an encore. Apart from “Shchedrik” and Maxim Berezovsky’s Concert No. 18, the listeners especially admired the Latvian “Vey, Breeze” and “The Sun Has Risen Over Latvia”. These works are unofficial Latvian spiritual hymns, the choristers noted.

Since the beginning of the war, Dudarik has earned and collected UAH 1.25 million for humanitarian and military needs.
