Cereals and fruits are not the best choice for breakfast – nutritionist Pisareva

In the morning it is worth eating the most healthy foods that can “give energy and charge for the whole day,” advises a dietitian, nutritionist Irina Pisareva.

Many Russians prefer to have cereal for breakfast, but such food cannot saturate for a long time, the expert warned. As for yeast products, for example sweet pastry, they can lead to unpleasant consequences in the form of bloating and indigestion. It is also not worth giving preference to fruits.

“Fruits are best eaten after the main meal, as a snack,” Pisareva explained in an interview. RT.

Citrus juice and coffee lovers should also be careful. These foods provoke “production of hydrochloric acid, which often leads to the release of bile.”

“It would be right to eat light-protein food for breakfast: eggs, cottage cheese, sour-milk products, cereals,” the nutritionist advised.
