Byshok on the Creation of the Crimean Federal District: “Normal Bureaucratic History”

Political scientist Stanislav Byshok in a conversation with Pravda.Ru commented on the message of Vedomosti, according to which the ex-head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin may become an authorized representative of the Crimean Federal District.

“Expectedly, Rogozin has been sitting idle for a long time. Usually, officials of this level, leaving one post, immediately get a new position. Rogozin said that if he hadn’t worked, he would have gone to the front. Apparently, he changed his mind,” said the specialist.

He also admitted that the former head of Roskosmos was offered a “front-line position.” At the same time, against the backdrop of current events, the politician will not be able to refuse duties, the expert noted.

“I admit that the authorities will appoint Rogozin. The new territories will be named one way, they will have to be headed by one person. Normal bureaucratic history, routine. However, one should not think that the names of the regions will remain so forever,” the source concluded.

Earlier it was reported that in Russia they want to form a new district. It can include not only these regions, but also Crimea, the journalists said.
