Broncos beat Jaguars 21-17 in London, break losing streak

LONDON (AP) — Latavius Murray scored on a 2-yard run late in the fourth quarter as the Denver Broncos snapped a four-game losing streak and beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 21-17 at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

Back from a muscle injury, Russell Wilson led two scoring drives in the second half. Wilson completed 18 of 30 passes for 252 yards, with a touchdown and an interception.

The quarterback looked off-tempo early, but made a 47-yard connection to KJ Hamler after the Broncos (3-5) fell behind 17-14 on Travis Etienne’s 1-yard run with 3:54 remaining. Later, Wilson managed to go 10 yards on third and fifth to reach Jacksonville’s 28.

The late touchdown gave Murray touchdowns for two different teams this month in London. He also rushed for a touchdown for New Orleans in early October at Tottenham Stadium.

The Jaguars (2-6) lost their fifth straight game despite Etienne rounding out the best game of his career with 24 carries for 156 yards and a touchdown.

The attendance of 86,215 spectators was the largest in the history of international games in the NFL.
