British MP calls for expulsion of Russian embassy after post about Azov people

British MP from the Labor Party Chris Bryant said that Russian diplomats should be expelled from the country after the post of the Russian embassy calling for the execution of Ukrainian prisoners.

He wrote about this in Twitterreports Ukrinform.

“This should be illegal. This is a call for war crimes. It is time for the UK to send the entire Russian embassy back to Moscow. Liz Truss (British Foreign Secretary – ed.), what are you going to do?” Bryant wrote.

As reported, after the tragedy in Olenivka, where Russian troops killed part of the Ukrainian prisoners of war defending Mariupol, fighters of the Azov regiment, the embassy of the Russian Federation in the UK published a cynical statement on Twitter calling for the execution of the captured fighters of the regiment by hanging.

The administration of the social network subsequently removed this message because it violated the rules of the community.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, the killing of Ukrainian prisoners in the temporarily occupied Olenivka was carried out by mercenaries from the Wagner private military company.
