Blogger Evgeny Bazhenovknown under the pseudonym BadComedian, did not hide that he transferred money from YouTube monetization to help residents of the LDNR and Ukraine.
Bazhenov reacted to the reports of Russian patriotic publics that he “will give the monetization of his channel to the disadvantaged people of Donbass.”
Bazhenov confirmed that he sent part of the funds from his income from the YouTube channel to the population of Ukraine and the residents of Donbass. He provided assistance before video hosting turned off the possibility of monetization.
“Yes, the last income of monetization (before the shutdown) was sent to help civilians. Some went to civilians on one front line, some to civilians on the other. Yes, and I don’t divide civilians into right and wrong. Forgive me,” explained Bazhenov.
