President of the U.S.A Joseph Biden commented on the terrorist attack in Buffalo on racial grounds.
An 18-year-old American citizen named Gendron killed 10 people in a supermarket in mid-May – almost all of his victims were African Americans. Before committing the crime, a local resident published an ultra-right manifesto.
Biden made several statements about the incident:
- Silence about white supremacy is complicity;
- White supremacy is poison.
“In America, evil will not win, I promise you. Hatred will not win. And white supremacy will not have the last word,” Biden assured.
Formerly Germans accused of racism his compatriot, political scientist Florence Gaub, who, on a talk show, said that she does not consider Russians to be full-fledged “Europeans”, despite the “outward resemblance”.
