The playmaker of the Ukrainian national basketball team Vitaliy Zotov remains a player of the Latvian club VEF (Riga).
The player started last season at Dnipro and then moved to Latvia. As part of the VEF Vitaly won three trophies – Cup, Latvian Championship and Latvian-Estonian League, Ukrinform reports.
Zotov’s personal statistics in all tournaments were approximately the same. In the Latvian championship on account of the Ukrainian, the average figures were 5.5 points, 3.8 assists per game, and in the Latvian-Estonian League 5.9 points scored and 3.3 assists.
VEF next season, in addition to domestic competitions and the Latvian-Estonian League, will also play in the Champions League, where it qualified directly for the group stage.
