According to the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sultana Khamzaev believes that state banks should repay loans for citizens who have fallen under partial mobilization.
The parliamentarian believes that simply providing credit holidays to the mobilized will not be enough, more tangible financial support is needed from the state.
“We need not only the simplest option for a loan holiday, but an initiative from the state banks themselves, which will take on the obligations of people and will independently close the debts of a person, as the fighter is on the front line,” Khamzaev said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
The deputy is confident that the state will be more “honest” if the repayment of loans, including mortgages, which were taken by the mobilized Russians, falls on the banks.
Khamzaev called his proposal “partial mobilization of the entire banking sector with guarantees for the families of all those mobilized.”
