The prosecutor’s office transferred the assets of a Belarusian enterprise worth UAH 4 billion to the National Agency of Ukraine for the Detection, Search and Management of Assets Obtained from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA).
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General in Telegram.
“At the request of the Podolsky district prosecutor’s office of the city of Kyiv, the assets of an enterprise-resident of the Republic of Belarus in the amount of about UAH 4 billion were transferred to the management of ARMA,” the report says.
They also note that the District Prosecutor’s Office provides procedural guidance on criminal proceedings on the facts of financing actions committed with the aim of forcibly changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing state power, changing the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine and abuse of power by a legal entity (part 2 of article 110 -2, part 2 article 364-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, a Belarusian enterprise operates on the territory of Ukraine, providing services in the field of oil and natural gas production. In its activities, it uses the equipment of the republican unitary enterprise “Belorusneft”. As part of the investigation, law enforcement officers are investigating the activities of this enterprise in terms of possible assistance to Russia during the preparation and conduct of an aggressive war against Ukraine.
At the request of the prosecutor’s office, the court arrested the corporate rights of the enterprise – almost 1 billion hryvnias of the authorized capital, as well as real and movable property with an oriented value of 3 billion hryvnias.
Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by investigators of the UP of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv based on the materials of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine.
