The servicemen who guard the border with Belarus in the Zhytomyr region have strong positions ready to meet the enemy.
This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko in Telegram after a trip to the Zhytomyr region, Ukrinform reports.
“We worked in the Zhytomyr region. We met with the military who guard the border of the region (with Belarus – ed.). They are ready to meet the enemy. They have reliable and strong positions, and most importantly, a great motivation to defend Ukraine. Burnt Russian equipment, reminiscent of military actions here,” Tymoshenko said.
According to him, the destroyed housing of civilians and infrastructure also reminds of the hostilities in the Zhytomyr region.
As Ukrinform reported, the day before, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko visited the state border in the Zhytomyr region, where active hostilities were taking place at the end of February.
