Bucha has another sister city: Katowice, the center of the Silesian Voivodeship, has joined the Polish cities of Tuszyn and Pszczyna today.
About this in Facebook Anatoliy Fedoruk, mayor of Bucha, said this, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, the Declaration of Friendship between Bucha and Katowice was signed.
“President of the city Marcin Krupa and members of the delegation visited Bucha at my invitation. During the meeting, he once again noted the importance of close cooperation between municipalities, thanked for the support of internally displaced persons, for the hospitality and sincerity that they feel in Poland and feel at home,” said the mayor of Buci.
Fedoruk noted the importance of a common victory, because the war continues in the East of Europe, and Ukrainians are fighting for the right to a free and democratic life.
“Our cooperation will continue and will be marked by important developments in various industries. There is no doubt about this, and therefore the implementation of joint projects is ahead of us,” Fedoruk added.
As reported by Ukrinform, Madrid became twin city of Kyiv.
