Another parish in the Kiev region moved from the Moscow Patriarchate to the OCU

The parish of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious in the village of Motyzhin, Buchansky district, Kiev region, joined the Pereyaslav-Vyshneve diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, moving there from the UOC (MP).

Wrote about it in Facebook Metropolitan Oleksandr Drabinko, Ukrinform reports.

“On May 14, the parish of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious (from the jurisdiction of the UOC MP) in the village of Motyzhin, Buchansky district, Kyiv region, joined the Pereyaslav-Vishnev diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. Congratulations to the brothers and sisters in the Local Ukrainian Church,” Drabinko wrote.

As Ukrinform reported, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine from the UOC (MP) to the OCU more than 200 communities have already crossed.
