Another 16 vessels with Ukrainian grain are expected to be sent to the ports of Odesa region

In the ports of the Odessa region, 16 ships with Ukrainian grain are waiting to be sent. Ukraine receives new applications for the arrival of new vessels for loading agricultural products.

About this in Telegram Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko wrote, Ukrinform reports.

“Now there are still 16 ships with Ukrainian grain in the ports of Odesa region, which are awaiting shipment. These are those that have been blocked in the ports since the end of February. At the same time, we receive applications for the arrival of new ships to load agricultural products. In the near future we plan to reach full transshipment capacity of agricultural products,” Tymoshenko wrote.

The Deputy Head of the Presidential Office recalled that the unblocking of ports means at least $1 billion in foreign exchange earnings for the country’s economy.

As reported, on August 1, for the first time since February 24, a ship with Ukrainian food left the Ukrainian port. The vessel Razoni left the port of Odessa. There are over 26,000 tons of Ukrainian corn on board. A Sierra Leone-flagged Razoni heading to the port of Tripoli, Lebanon. The ship will move along the corridor, the safety of which was confirmed by the UN and Turkey.
