The attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on July 31 on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol is being actively discussed in the media. Vice speaker of the Moscow City Duma and journalist of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Andrey Medvedev believes that the Ukrainian side is acting by terrorist methods.
“They hit Donetsk with cluster munitions and bombard the city with anti-personnel mines. A peaceful city. Mines. To cripple women and children,” Russkaya Vesna quoted Medvedev as saying.
Concerning attacks on the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, the vice speaker believes that this “quadcopter” could not fly from Ukraine, which means that there is some kind of sleeping cell in the city itself. Explosions, shelling of the civilian population, attacks on the administration are recorded constantly in Zaporozhye and Kherson. This may suggest that Ukraine is “a typical terrorist structure,” Medvedev says.
He believes that the Kyiv authorities will continue to act from the same considerations. The strike on the Kyiv bridge and the seizure of any civilian object on the territory of Russia is completely in the logic of a terrorist, since this is a means of self-affirmation and intimidation, the journalist concluded.
