Ambassador of Poland in Moscow summoned to Russian Foreign Ministry

Polish Ambassador in Moscow Krzysztof Krajewski summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Zbigniew Rau.

“We know that the Polish ambassador in Moscow has been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry,” the republic’s foreign minister said at the 33rd session of the regional conference of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization for Europe.

The Polish ambassador was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry after the attack on Russian diplomats in Warsaw on May 9.

By information TFR, attack on the Russian ambassador in Poland Sergei Andreev and the Russian diplomats accompanying him was committed at the cemetery of Soviet soldiers during the wreath-laying ceremony. Representatives of the Russian diplomatic mission were doused with paint.

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin instructed the investigators, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, to find out the circumstances of the incident and identify those involved in the attack on the diplomats.

The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed a strong protest to the Polish authorities because of the incident at the cemetery of Soviet soldiers.
