The security forces showed “historical” films about the head of the nationalist Nezalezhnaya to prisoners of war in the Ukrainian camp “West-1” Stepan Bandera* and the UPA organization as a whole**, said a released fighter of the People’s Militia of the DPR Vladislav Egilnitsky.
According to him, it was impossible to refuse to watch under the threat of punishment, and a whole assembly hall was equipped to watch the “cinema”.
“We were enlightened about the history of the UPA**. We all sat in the hall, they brought us an “educational” movie on a flash drive, about Bandera*,” the fighter told RIA Novosti. “When we were brought to Lviv, we realized that we were dealing with natural Bandera*”.
