The Google Arts & Culture platform will create a Ukrainian section that will contain materials about Ukrainian traditions, architecture, cuisine, high art and natural objects.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy in Telegram.
“Now the Ukrainian page is filled with informational and visual content, and the section itself will receive an updated design, which will be significantly different from other pages on the platform,” the message says.
Currently, active work is underway to expand the digitization of Ukrainian art and historical artifacts, in particular, in the museums of Kyiv to replenish the content of Google Arts & Culture.
According to the report, the discussion on Ukraine’s accession to the updated Google platform took place during a regular meeting between Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy Anastasia Bondar and Google Ukraine Director for Cooperation with State Authorities Oleg Yakymchuk.
As reported, Google Arts & Culture is an online platform through which the public can access high-definition images of artwork held at the initiative’s partner museums.
