A resident of Izyum is suspected of collaborating with the enemy
Vladimir Sukhanov, a resident of Izyum, was informed of a suspicion of collaborationist activity during the capture of the city by Russian troops.
It is reported in Facebook press service of the Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office.
“According to the investigation, during the temporary occupation of the city of Izyum, a local resident voluntarily took the position of the so-called “head of the medical service – medicine service” in an illegally created government body, namely: in the occupation administration of the aggressor state. He was engaged in accounting and distribution of medicines funds as “humanitarian aid” from representatives of the Russian Federation,” the message says.
Suspicion of a 42-year-old citizen of Ukraine was declared on the fact of collaborationist activity (part 5 of article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators from the SBU Department in the Kharkiv region.
Vladimir Sukhanov was summoned for interrogation to the prosecutor’s office on May 25.
