A charity football match in support of Ukraine took place in Liverpool

Dynamo Kyiv football players held a charity match with the English Everton, which is played by the former defender of the White-Blues Vitaliy Mykolenko.

The match at the Goodison Park arena in Liverpool ended in favor of the hosts – 3:0, Ukrinform reports.

Goals were scored by James Tarkowski, who opened the scoring in the 4th minute, and Dwight McNeil (73, 78).

Dynamo squad: Neshcheret (Boyko, 46) – Kravchenko (Timchik, 46), Burda (Zabarny, 46), Sirota (Pain, 75), Ovcharenko – Andrievsky (Yatsyk, 75), Shepelev, Karavaev, Garmash (Besedin, 75), Antyukh (Shaparenko, 36) – Vanat (Tsarenko, 83).

The game with Everton, like all Dynamo international friendly matches, was held under the slogan Match For Peace (“Match for Peace”) and with a charitable purpose. The proceeds from the sale of tickets will be used to solve the greatest humanitarian problems caused by Russia’s war in Ukraine.

Recall that on August 3, Dynamo will meet with the Austrian Sturm in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. The match will take place in the Polish city of Lodz.
