PAM chief, who issued a decision to stop 60+ residency, referred for investigation

Minister of Commerce and Industry Abdullah Al-Salman referred Public Authority for Manpower PAM Director Ahmad Al-Mousa for investigation after he issued a decision to halt the renewal of visas of residents aged 60 and older who do not have a university degree.

This decision was canceled by the fatwa and legislation department stating that such a decision has no legal validity. The decision by PAM chief caused economic and humanitarian consequences, reports indicated.
