104 patients were evacuated from the building

In the Zeytinburn district, in the European part of Istanbul, there was a large-scale fire in a healthcare facility, in a building where elderly patients were cared for. 104 people were evacuated.

“The flames engulfed the entire roof of the building in a short time. 104 people were evacuated. 80 patients have been transferred to other hospitals. Firefighters are fighting the fire, ”the TV channel reports.

The fire broke out in a building where elderly people and patients were cared for. Medics, firefighters, police officers and ordinary citizens helped carry out patients.

Governor of Istanbul Province Ali Yerlikaya and Mayor of Istanbul Ekrem Imamoglu are at the scene of the incident.

According to the governor of the province, at present there are no reports of deaths and injuries due to a large-scale fire.
