According to bourgas.ru, the elections in Bulgaria: at 13:00 the voter turnout was 17.6%, which is slightly more than it was in the snap parliamentary elections a year ago. At the moment, it remains low and is in the same order as in the last parliamentary elections on November 14 last year, when at 13:00, about 17.5% came to the polls. This was reported by sociologist Janitsa Petkova from the Gallup agency.

“Traditionally, residents of small towns and elderly voters are active in the morning hours. Around noon, regional centers, large cities and people of economically active age are activated. After lunch we expect more activity in the capital. At the moment, people from large cities and regional centers are starting to vote more actively,” Petkova notes.

“Based on the results, a rather low voter turnout is expected, as we have been predicting over the past few weeks. Unless there is some activation during the daytime, some unexpected wave, ”said Janitsa Petkova.
