Iran expects IAEA to show impartiality

Following the visit of the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Raphael Grossi in Tehran, Iranian authorities said the agency intends to conduct its technical activities on the basis of the principle of impartiality. This was reported by the Iranian agency IRNA on November 25.

Ahead of the November 29 meeting in Vienna (Austria) between the 4 + 1 group of countries (UK, France, Russia, China plus Germany) and Iran, Grossi made a day trip to Tehran and held talks with the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslamias well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amirabdollahian

The head of the IAEA assessed the conversation as positive and promising, noting that both sides are trying to achieve a successful conclusion of the upcoming negotiations.
