With the aim of facilitating companies in the Huelva furniture sector the possibility of contacting other companies in the sector, distributors and marketers, the Huelva Provincial Councilthrough the Huelva Empresa service, has fostered the presence of four companies from Huelva at the International Fair of Piece of furniture and Lighting of Valencia, Habitat 2022one of the most important events on the national scene in this sector.
Accompanied by the deputy coordinator of Economic and Social Innovation of the Huelva Provincial Council, Yolanda Rubio, and the mayor of Valverde del Camino, Syra Senra, the representatives of the companies Valarte Furniture, Herka Furniture Factory, Andévalo Furniture and Mudeval Furniture, met meet these days in Valencia with the clear objective of enabling the opening of new lines of business, new markets and new distribution channels, with the intention of boosting the economy of the sector.
The provincial deputy has assured that “from Huelva Empresa we have been working with the different productive sectors of the province and, in this case, with the furniture sector. These types of fairs represent a great opportunity for our entrepreneurs to make themselves known in a showcase as important as this one”. For Yolanda Rubio, “the presence of these four companies from Huelva in Valencia is one more example of the support of the Diputación to promote traditional activities that generate wealth and well-being for the citizens of our province”.
With a production centered in the town of Valverde del Camino, the furniture manufactured in the province of Huelva brings together quality, talent and art to give the best response to the demands of the current market. A sector that is committed to diversifying and seeking new markets and customers who value the quality of its products, good design and professional work that is one hundred percent craftsmanship, which brings together experience, know-how and innovation.
For her part, Syra Senra pointed out that “for Valverde del Camino and the furniture companies, it is essential to attend these introspection visits that help us update trends and contacts so that our companies advance in the socioeconomic development that the global economy has the local demand”. The mayor also wanted to “thank both the Huelva Provincial Council and the Huelva Empresa Office for their constant support of the companies in Valverde del Camino”.
In this its 56th edition, the International Furniture, Lighting and Decoration Fair of Valencia is being held for the first time together with the event specializing in furniture and equipment for kitchens, Espacio Cocina SICI, and the historic home textiles, contract and decoration fair , Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar, to form an appointment with a high convening power and a very professional visitor profile. In addition, 2022 is marked in a very significant way in the international calendar of design events, as Valencia celebrates its year as World Design Capital in style.
The exhibition area has also increased in this edition with more than 600 exhibiting firms and brands, 18% foreign, from Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Turkey, and a self-occupancy of more than 70,000 square metres, structured in the four halls of Level 2 of Feria Valencia, to which are added two halls of Level 3, a third shared with the textile sector and areas for distributors on both levels.
