In the capital of Montenegro , Podgorica, local LGBT activists organized a march with the participation of several hundred people, writes European Truth.
It is noted that on the eve of the event, the Serbian Orthodox Church organized a “prayer protest” against the march, claiming that it poses a threat to traditional family values. According to the media, politicians of pro-Serbian views took part in the “prayer protest”.
The past LGBT march was the tenth in the history of Montenegro.
Earlier it was reported that the captain of the Serbian national football team, Dusan Tadic , refused to wear armbands in support of LGBT and the Ukrainian team at the 2022 World Cup. According to media reports, the organizers of the mundial offered the captains of all national teams to wear such armbands.
