Fundación Cepsa visits the Fecons soup kitchen in Lepe

Cepsa Foundation last Friday visited the workers and managers of the Fecons soup kitchen in Lepean entity that obtained one of the Social Value Awards 2021 for its project to recover the kitchen of its facilities, damaged during the floods.

As the foundation has indicated in a press release, the accompaniment of the winning entities is part of the relationship that is forged between Cepsa Foundation and the winners of their solidarity prizes, and the visit is framed within those bonds.

The person in charge of Fundación Cepsa in Huelva, Narciso Rojas, praised the work carried out by the entity, highlighting the human team in charge of the kitchens of the soup kitchen and stressed that “the work environment is magnificent, and the coordination between they enviable.”

The experiences of the workers during the floods and what day-to-day life is like in an entity through which more than 200 people pass daily in the months of March and April were the main topics discussed during the visit. These floods caused problems in a large part of the facilities which, thanks to the awards for social value, are now fully operational.
