The White Night of Culture Aracena met this Saturday, July 30, four first class shows in three different scenarios. The public once again enjoyed the usual format of this event, which was adapted in previous years of the pandemic to spaces with capacity, recovering the festival of culture in the street and the movement of the public from one space to another in parades, wrapped in a great festive atmosphere.
The program organized by the Department of Culture of the Aracena City Council had three shows from the Andalusian Network of Public Theatres, such as the inaugural concert by María Guadaña, offered on the terrace of the Official School of Languages, a special stage in the heart of Aracena with spectacular sunset views. The Jaén artist offered the sound poems of her album ‘Latido y culebras’, from her personal and emotional musical and interpretive style.
At the same time, another space, the Plaza Marqués de Aracena, hosted a family show. El Títere de Cachiporra came from the hand of the Siesta Teatro company, which captivated the little ones with the endearing story of ‘Punchinellis’.
From here, the public moved to the Arias Montano Municipal Park, but not before collecting the attendees from the Language School, with the musical rhythm of the Charanga Sierra Morena and at the pace of a stilt walk, with the collaboration of the circus master David Cebrián.
The new concert space conditioned by the Aracena City Council in the Municipal Park, after an important rehabilitation carried out in recent months, premiered with the concert of El Jose. The artist from Granada offered the most famous songs from his album ‘Seguro de na’ to a young audience dedicated to his music.
This show, along with the finale of the Compañía Magia Flamenca, was also offered by the Andalusian Network. The circus, magic, theater and flamenco music merged in the Plaza Marqués de Aracena, in a surprising closing at the hands of the show ‘Cabaret Flamenco’.
