136 thousand square meters of real estate will be built on the site of the former industrial zone “Kapotnya”

The 8.3 hectare site in the former Kapotnya industrial zone in the southeast of Moscow will be reorganized. According to the Deputy Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov, enterprises and public and business facilities will be erected here, which will give the city more than 2.5 thousand new jobs.

This is a former production area located between Verkhniye Polya and Chaginskaya Streets.

“Now there are car services and open warehouses of containers,” – said Vladimir Efimov.

The investor plans to invest 30 billion rubles to build 136 thousand square meters of real estate here. One half will fall on modern high-tech enterprises, and the other – on shops, banks, cafes and other public and business buildings.

Moscow budget revenues from the project will amount to almost four billion rubles.
