The Communist Party asks the Investigative Committee to bring Zhirinovsky to criminal responsibility

The Communist Party of the Russian Federation complained to the Investigative Committee about leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Vladimir Zhirinovsky and asked to open a criminal case against him. The reason for the appeal was the insults addressed to the Communist Party at the last meetings of the State Duma.

MP Alexander Yushchenko said that the head of the RF IC Alexander Bastrykin a letter was sent. It states that on November 16, Zhirinovsky, at a regular meeting of the State Duma, proposed to close the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and cancel all election results of this party.

“All insults and calls to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation to close and ban the party is, first of all, to prohibit the work of these people. We regard this as statements aimed at inciting social hatred. We expect that a criminal case should be opened,” RIA News his words.

Another MP from the Communist Party Sergey Obukhov recalled that the head of the Liberal Democratic Party made a lot of insults at the meeting, which took place on November 25. In his opinion, they can also become lawsuits.
