President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said he would not act like the ex-president of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich and will not flee the country in the event of a coup d’état.
“I am not Yanukovych. I will not run anywhere. And not Poroshenko. I will not get out on the death of the Heavenly Hundred people, I will not get out on the bulldozer either,” Zelensky said during a press conference. He is quoted by RBK…
Earlier, the Ukrainian leader said that he became aware of the impending coup d’etat, in which the businessman was involved Rinat Akhmetov. However, he is being “pulled into this” by unfriendly representatives of Ukraine and the Russian Federation, Zelensky said. He noted that he did not believe in the possibility of a coup d’etat, which is scheduled for December 1, and Akhmetov’s participation in it.
Zelensky also added that a media attack is underway against him from information resources controlled by Akhmetov.
