Ukraine no longer sees a threat from Russia on the border

Military threat from the Russian Federation on the border with Ukraine is absent. This was stated by the secretary of the NSDC Alexey Danilov on the air of the TV channel1 + 1“.

He reacted to the statements of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanova, who previously reported that Russia could begin an invasion of the state’s territory early next year. According to Danilov, the NSDC constantly analyzes information and does not see the threat of a full-scale attack.

At the same time, he noted that the country continues to build up weapons in case of danger.

“For a direct invasion, certain things must happen. These things do not exist today. Whether they will be tomorrow, we’ll see. Ukraine is preparing,” Danilov said.

He is also convinced that it is the Kremlin that is whipping up “hysteria.” In his opinion, Russia disseminated information about its troops on the border with Ukraine through the Western media.

Moscow denies all charges. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly stated that the country does not threaten anyone.
