Three people have died from covid in the province of Huelva, since last Friday, according to data made public this Tuesday by the Health counselingwhich warns of the danger of expansion that exists especially among those over 80 years of age, where the contagion rate has reached 1,090 points on Tuesday.
The province of Huelva is the one that registers the worst data in Andalusia among those over 60 years of age, with an average rate of 791, although the most worrying figure is that of the 14-day expansion of those over 80, which exceeds 1,000. Between 70 and 79 years old the contagion rate is 848 and among the elderly between 60 and 69 years old it drops to 601.
The health district where more cases are concentrated among those over 60 years of age in the province of Huelva is Sierra-Andévalo Central, with a contagion rate of 1,033. In the County-Campaña district it drops to 769 and Huelva-Costa stays at 726.
By localities, the most worrying situations among those over 60 years of age occur in San Silvestre de Guzmán (rate of 4,600), Calañas (3,400), Encinasola (2,500), Cumbres Mayores (2,230), Villanueva de los Castillejos (2,136) and The Almond Tree (2074).
Deaths in Huelva
With the last three deaths, the number of deaths from covid so far this May rises to four. In April there were 7 fatalities and in March 18. In total, since the start of the pandemic, a total of 497 people from Huelva have died from the coronavirus, according to official data.
